Windows 10: Bluetooth Speaker Problems

Hi all, im not sure where to post this, but I need as much help as possible. I have an Lg CM4550 stereo system with built in bluetooth. Ive had them for about 2 years and theyve always worked perfectly fine when connecting it to my PC. The past 2 days however have been different. My speakers connect through bluetooth, but show up as "Disconnected" in the playback devices section of the volume settings. I have looked up every possible answer on google and on the forums. I have tried uninstalling drivers and reinstalling, and nothing works. My pair of Audio Technica ATH m50X bluetooth headphones connect perfectly fine with no problem and appear as "Connected" in the playback devices section. When I connect my phone to the speakers through bluetooth, all is well and works perfectly. but my PC will not connect or play an audio, even though it still tells me im connected. Please help me, this has been driving me crazy and im at a complete loss.

Bluetooth speaker not playing

Hello Tanya,

Your Bluetooth speaker might be paired with your PC but not connected. You can try the following steps to manually connect it:

• Make sure your Bluetooth speaker is turned on.
• On the far right of the Windows taskbar, press and hold (right-click)
  Volume, and then select Playback devices.
• On the Playback tab, select the Bluetooth speaker, press and hold (or right-click) it, and then select
  Connect.
• Select your Bluetooth speaker, and then select Set default. Music should play on your Bluetooth speaker now.

Let us know if performing the steps makes any difference.
