Windows 10: Bluetooth suddenly stopped working

Hi All,


Just this morning, Bluetooth on my Dell Inspiron 3493 stopped working.


When trying to add a Bluetooth device from Settings>Devices>Add Bluetooth or other device I am getting an error saying that Bluetooth is not switched on, and to update the driver.





Here is what I have tried so far :

> Reinstalled driver - When trying to update the Bluetooth driver through device manager, it says that the driver is already up to date. When that didn't work, I went to the Dell website, and manually downloaded the correct driver and installed it myself, but it didn't have any effect.




> Reinstalled Device - I also uninstalled the Bluetooth device from device manager, restarted the computer and then once more installed the driver, but it didn't have any effect.


> Reinstalled Windows - Bit drastic, but since all else had failed and I also wanted to reorganize my disk partitions, I did a clean reinstall of Windows, by following the instructionshere. But even that didn't do anything.


It should be noted that I have had the laptop's motherboard replaced recently due to an unrelated issue. After the replacement, bluetooth was working fine till now.

Is it possible that the new motherboard might be failing ?

Bluetooth headphones suddenly stopped working.


HI,

My Bluetooth headphones have suddenly stopped working. They were working fine this morning. The headphones are connected and I see it in devices + printers but I no longer see it in playback devices.

Any ideas?

 

Microsoft bluetooth mouse 3600 suddenly undetected


I'm using a Microsoft mouse 3600 on Windows 10, all worked fine until suddenly the mouse stopped working, it disappeared from the Bluetooth detection and can't be found anymore. I need to say Windows performed an update yesterday but it still worked fine after the update. I've tried replacing batteries, updating Bluetooth driver, went one step before the updates and nothing. I obviously tried troubleshooting about anything.The mouse does work on other laptops.

Any ideas? thanks

 

Bluetooth suddenly stopped working???

I usually have bluetooth on my Dell laptop (AMD processor, 64 bit, windows 10) but it suddenly stopped having bluetooth and idk where to find a driver, PLS HELP!!!!!!!!!!!
