Windows 10: Bluetooth works when headphones are paired but not when connected

I run Windows 10 on a Dell laptop. I have a pair of Bluetooth headphones that on one and so far only website work when paired but stop working when connected. How can that happen, and what, if anything, should I do about it?

setting up win10 Bluetooth and my Bluetooth headphones work fine ,but every time I reconnect the headphones I have to delete them from Bluetooth settings and let win10 pickup the headphones again ,before they will pair ,then win10 want to reboot to add the headphones ,I reboot and they work fine ,but next time I plug the headphone in again they will not pair ,don't even get an option to pair till I delete the head phones from the list ,, any suggestions ,, thank

 

Taotronics TT-BH07 bluetooth headphones paired but not connected

Hi everyone,

Hopefully this is on the right board....

I've got the Taotronics TT-BH07 bluetooth headphones which I've paired with my Windows 10 laptop and it worked fine the first time. I found that the following day, after the laptop had been switched off and started again, when I switch the headphones on, it doesn't connect to the laptop. It shows up in the list of bluetooth devices as "paired" but it doesn't connect automatically. If I remove it and go through the whole pairing process again, I can then use it.

I would have expected it to connect to the laptop automatically when it is switched on. I've had no problems connecting it with my iPhone. I've checked online for drivers for these headphones but there's nothing available, not even on the official Taotronics website.

Am I missing something here? Is this a bug or is there some further configuration I need to carry out on Windows in order to have the headphones connect as soon as I switch them on? Any and all input greatly received.

Paired headphones will not connect to Bluetooth

Unfortunately neither method has worked. I would like to mention that when this device was purchased from PC World only a few days ago we were assured that it was compatible with Windows 10 (although it says Win8 on the box).

Here is a more detailed explanation of the results obtained:-

Method 1.

Followed the instructions up to (d) clicked "Next" and completed the troubleshooting process.

An unspecified problem was detected.

Restarted my PC as advised and the headphones are "Paired"

Message says that "PC is searching for and can be discovered by Bluetooth devices.

Headphones have a rapidly flashing blue light indicating that they are switched on but not connected.

Method 2.

Followed the instructions ie uninstalling the driver and restarting the PC.

Headphones are "Paired"

Message again says that "PC is searching for and can be discovered by Bluetooth devices.

Headphones have a rapidly flashing blue light indicating that they are switched on but not connected.

I then followed the link you advised to the suggested thread by Moderator, Rajith and following the advice :-

"Allowed Bluetooth devices to find this PC"

Again the device will not connect but is "Paired"

All of the above were done whilst attempting to listen to ITunes which was running and playing music. Still the headphones will not connect. The headphones work perfectly well on my IPAD and Kindle Fire HD.

Also typed "Services" in the search bar and made sure that all Bluetooth items listed were enabled and running.

Bluetooth Dongle - ASUS USB-BT400USB Adapter Bluetooth 4.0 This has a device No. BCM20702A0
