Windows 10: Bookmarks icon on opening screen

Discus and support Bookmarks icon on opening screen in Browsers and Email to solve the problem; I frequently click the bookmark star at the top right of a page i would like to retrieve later.     I frequently click the bookmark star at the top right of a page i would like to retrieve later. I haven't been able to find any of these bookmarks. Help is needed.

    Techpowerup bookmark icon in firefox?

    changed the favicon for the forum
    uploaded a new smaller (bytes) icon for the main site
    added html code to suggest the icon to browsers

    but i still cant get it to show up in firefox favourites
