Windows 10: Bookmarks not being stored (Chrome)

Discus and support Bookmarks not being stored (Chrome) in Windows 10 BSOD Crashes and Debugging to solve the problem; Bookmarks saved over the last few days haven't appeared in my "Other Bookmarks" location, nor can I find them elsewhere.     Bookmarks not being stored (Chrome)


    Bookmarks saved over the last few days haven't appeared in my "Other Bookmarks" location, nor can I find them elsewhere.


    Windows 10 and Chrome.


    Over the same period I've been fighting to install a Pixma MG 2420 printer; it finally settled down a couple of days ago.


    I don't know if there's any connection . . .


    Help is appreciated !

    Edge Import Bookmarks from Chrome does not work

    Hi,

    To resolve your issue with Microsoft Edge, we suggest that you clear your browsing data. Please follow the steps below:

    • Click on the 3 dots at the upper right corner of Edge.
    • Go to Settings.
    • Go to Clear browsing data.
    • Click on Choose what to clear > Clear.
    • Try to import your bookmarks from Chrome to Microsoft Edge.

    Let us know how it goes.

    Google Chrome Bookmarks


    After last nights crash, I have my Bookmarks here on Chrome but not my latest ones. I have a saved backup of those Bookmarks and my question is as follows ...
    Can I import from that saved file and if so, will the Bookmarks from that file simply over-write the ones I presently have here and add the new ones to the list here in Chrome.
    Or do I have to completely delete my Bookmarks from Chrome and then retrieve them from the saved file.

    Chrome Bookmark Folders are screwed up

    I am experiencing the same thing. It only happens for bookmark folders that contain 1 or 2 bookmarks.

    I started a thread in the Chrome support forum.

    Windows 7 64-bit
    Chrome Version 32.0.1700.102 m
