"Boot Device Not Found" Due to Update: November 10, 2020—KB4586781

Experiencing "Boot Device Not Found" error on restart after install of KB4586781. Full shut down and start performs boot normally. UEFI disk test results in "pass" for disk drive.

Fresh Windows reinstall and troubleshooting with temp removal of KB4586781 fixes problem. This seems to indicate conflict with that update. Unfortunately, removal is only temporary as Windows eventually forces the update install.

All computer firmware and drivers up to date. PC manufacturer advises this is a Windows issue. Any suggestions on how to resolve?
