    Boot device not found

Yesterday I was on my laptop and then it suddenly crashed so I forced powered it off. When I tried to open it again it came up with a black screen saying:

    Boot device not found

Please install and operating system on your hard disk.

    For more information, please visit:

I watched some youtube tutorials on how to fix it and none of them worked. I turned it on and off around 4 times and after ages I held down the power button for a long time and it just started working again? Today I opened it and while it was turning on it came up with the black screen saying press esc to cancel startup, I didn't press anything but it continued to take me to my login page as normal.

I'm not sure if I should ignore it because my computer is working fine or is there something I need to do?

    Thank you.
