    So did you upgrade from a previous version to Windows 10? Ie, not a hard drive wipe and clean install.

    Started with an upgrade from activated Win7 x86 -> Win10 = OK. Wiped and cleaned installed Win10 x86 = Ok to begin with and later on "whea_uncorrectable_error" more and more frequent.
    Cleaned again installed Win7 x64, activated and tried upgrade = not possible due to processor limitations.
    Cleaned again, tried install of Win10 x64 from USB/DVD = no boot.
    Gave up, ate dinner
    Cleaned again, installed Win7 x64, activated
    ...
    ...
    I still have the images saved somewhere ...

    I believe that each of us have been through some or most of what I see above. S
    ometimes we just need to take-a-break, slow down and re-read what it says.... then all works the next time.
    I do remember some of those days.

    Interesting.. upgrade was going to be my next attempt, see how it works out. I'm curious enough to go for it.

    I'm assuming you're installing/upgrade on a single disk drive, not any sort of raid/jbod?
