    I tried to restore the partitions, this showed up on the minitool.

    However after I applied the changes, the disk returned to the state it was in before the partitions were restored. Tried it three times and always reverted. Even so, I ran Macrium's Fix Boot utility from Kyhi's boot disk and still have the same problem.

    The 300Mb partition looks wrong, and you're missing the 16Mb System partition. Otherwise it's a UEFI config. The last one looks like a real Recovery partition.

    In particular, the disk is shown as MBR
    - for a UEFI boot you need GPT

    So follow the procedure I outlined above: you have your image of C: - clean install Win 10 making sure C: is large enough to restore your present C:

    Make sure everything on your existing system disk is deleted- if you wish, format it first.

    I reinstalled windows using a flash drive, formatted the disk and then deleted it. Everything is working again, it's been a day since I did it and no problems have occurred. Thank you for all the help dalchina, I really appreciate it.

    Glad you found a resolution. Now you have more tools - time to start using disk imaging routinely...
