Windows 10: Boot failure

I noticed that some viruses and trojans had infected my Windows 10 pro desktop. Therefore I tried uninstalling those trojans from control panel>uninstall a program. After that when I rebooted my desktop, the windows boot screen appeared and after that instead of taking me to the windows login screen, a green screen with white horizontal stripes were displayed and then the monitor went blank. After two seconds, it again rebooted up and showed the green screen and went black again. Then Windows advanced startup screen appeared and I went to the BIOS settings to boot my desktop from a USB stick to repair windows. I changed the boot sequence as follows:


1# USB stick

2# Hard disk

3# CD drive

4# IPv4

5# IPv5

6# Windows Boot Manager


After that when I saved the changes to boot from my USB, it showed me a black screen with the statement "Reboot and select a proper boot device". Even I could not go to my BIOS settings to reset that since the keyboard was not working at that time. I tried removing and reinserting the CMOS battery but in vain. The keyboard and mouse (all input devices) are not working.


Now the main problem here is because all input devices have ceised to work at this instance.


Anyone, please help me get out of this problem as soon as possible.

Confusing Disk Boot Failure

Well, Brand new Harddrive the western digital se16 caviar 640. Had a clean install, and while installing drivers and programs after a couple restarts I am receiving disk boot failure. Not the first restart or the second. Each time that it has given me the failure was after installing updates. I've system restored to before installing the updates and it works fine. It's a large list of around 38 or so updates. Granted may be a fluke but anyone heard of this?

• Press Windows key
• Hold Shift key then click Restart
• You'll be prompted to the Advance Startup Options
• Select Troubleshoot
• Advanced options
• Startup repair
