Windows 10: Boot manager description keeps changing after restart

This is crazy - seems every time I restart one PC here, the boot manager description (msconfig/boot) keeps changing. Went from Win 10 Pro to Home to, now, Vista. If this keeps up, I'm liable to see Win 3.1.

I am using bcdedit to change it back but where's this coming from?

Stopcode error Windows 10

I installed Windows 10 on the free upgrade offer. After the recent major windows 10 update, my screen got this blue screen saying windows stopcode error. It says: Video TDR failure. What failed: atikmpag.sys. The blue screen said that my computer
would restart which it did but after boot up it automatically restarted. This cycle continues. I managed to do a "Restore to previous date" but the problem still exists. Is there a fix for this? PC just keeps restarting after +- 30 sec after re-boot.

I unplugged the usb flash drive. Now I can do nothing. I only get an error report that no bootable device has been found.

In the setup menu, I had changed the boot option priorities to be the USB port first, then Windows boot manager 2nd.

After unplugging the the flash drive I changed the setup menu to change the boot option 1 to the Windows boot manager. No luck with that. So, I deleted option 2 under boot option priorities.

Still nothing. Just keeps blinking at me saying no bootable devices.
