  1. Both 2.4 and 5 ghz stopped showing in win 10 from router

I have a Dell XPS 11 with windows 10. I connected a netgear a6210 adapter and that connected to my router as WIFI 2. When I took off adapter, the laptop’s wifi adapter stopped showing my router’s 2.4 and 5ghz SSIDs. I am able to see them from my iPhone and other laptops. They are not set to hide. Ive ran some commands in command prompt to clear profile. I then restored my laptop fresh and still cant find the SSIDs. Im able to see and connect to other SSIDs. Any ideas? Thanks.

    :)

  2. 2.4 GHz SSID is not showing anymore while 5 GHz SSID is working fine.

    Hi,

Until today 2.4 GHz network was working fine but after resetting the router 2.4 GHz SSID is not showing anymore. After resetting the router, I completed the setup process connected with 5 GHz SSID because couldn't connect the 2.4 GHz SSID that time. Then
2.4 GHz SSID is vanished. But this same 2.4 GHz SSID is visible to my other laptop and mobile devices, no issues at all and working fine.

What is the issue with this laptop? I know this laptop supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz band and until today I was connected to 2.4 GHz SSID. The 5 GHz SSID is working fine but the shorter range is annoying sometimes.

  3. How Do I Access 5 GHz Band On AC1750?

I don't see a screen like the screenshot you posted allowing selection of 5 GHz in my Security Page. This is what I see, and there is no option to connect to 2 GHz or 5 GHz.

I did login into the router. It lists the 5 Ghz band correctly, but is doesn't show up on Network Settings. Therefore, I cannot connect to it. I would think it should be there too, but it isn't as far as I can tell. The only entry in Network Settings is the 2.4 GHz one. What can I do to get the 5 GHz band recognized in order to connect?

Atheros AR9485WB-EG Wireless Adapter - No 5 GHz Reception

This is my first post. I have an ASUS notebook running Windows 10 64 bit OS. I have a Linksys router transmitting on both 2.4 and 5 GHz. I can receive the 5 GHz signal on my iPhone but not on my notebook. Installed latest driver and when I go to the adapters' properties it only shows 802.1b Preamble with no way to select a or g. It is my understanding that b only receives 2.4 GHz. Looking for suggestions on how to receive 5 GHz or whether it is possible with this adapter. Thanks.
