Windows 10: Boya by m1 microphone not working on windows 11

When I plug the microphone into the phone, It works fine. But since I can record up to 48000hz from the phone, I want to use it on a computer cuz this microphone can record up to 192000hz on a pc. The microphone Jack has 3 prongs, I plug it in from the back of the case and it detects the microphone. But there is only a buzzing sound and it does not pick up my voice at all. I tried many things, downloaded new drivers, deleted them, etc. None of them worked. I would be glad if you could help me fr

My BOYA BY-M1 Mic is not working in window 11. I tried a lots of tricks but still it is not working with microsoft window 11.

in my laptop Lenovo idealpad 320...i'm trying to use boya by m1 mic as an external mic but it's not working. plz give me the solution for this.

 

My Boya M1 shows connected but not recording anything in my laptop , it is working fine in my mobile phone.

If your Burson-Marsteller M1 microphone is showing as connected but not recording anything on your laptop, there may be several potential issues to consider:



1. Check the microphone settings:

Ensure that the Booya M1 is selected as the default recording device on your laptop. To do this, right-click on the speaker icon in the system tray and select "Recording Devices" to ensure that the Boa M1 is set as the default device.

(1) Click the volume icon on the taskbar and then click the "Volume and Sound Settings" button.

(2) In the "Sound" window that opens, select the "Recording" tab.

Locate the Boya M1 microphone, right-click on it and select "Set as default device".

Then right-click on the Boya M1 microphone again and select "Properties".

In the Properties window, select the "Levels" tab and make sure that the volume of the microphone has been adjusted to the appropriate level.

(3) Click "Apply" and close the window.

This will set the Boya M1 as the default recording device!



2. Adjust the microphone volume:

In the same "Recording Devices" window, select Booya M1 and click the "Properties" button to go to the "Volume" tab. Make sure the microphone volume is not muted and adjust the volume if necessary.



3. Update Audio Drivers:

Outdated or incompatible audio drivers can cause problems with microphone functionality. Visit the manufacturer's website or your laptop's support page to download and install the latest audio drivers for your specific model.
