Windows 10: Bricked Windows 1- HP Pavilion

Used system yesterday and when finished, saw there was an update, clicked "Update and shutdown". This morning, first boot up failed with blue screen and message re. dumping debug data. On reboot, USB keyboard and mouse not recognized, system would not take any input from mouse or keyboard. Switched to PS2 keyboard and mouse, same result. I can use the F10 to get the setup screen but setup looks good and when Windows comes up, mouse and keyboard are totally ignored. F11 doesn't access recovery as reflected ib startup menu. F8 also ignored... WTH did MS do to my system? I can't get past the login screen to do anything.

Can't update the HP Pavilion Notebook.

I'm trying to update my system and am getting a message to delete HP Pavilion Notebook - BIOS manually as it is incompatible with the upgrade.

I can't find it to delete it. It's not in the Programs list with the other HP apps.

Any suggestions?

Battery plugged in, not charging. I have a Hp Pavilion dm 1. I upgraded to Windows 10 several months ago. Just started getting the not charging message a couple days ago. Went thru numerous suggestions found on various forums but nothing seems to work. Any
more suggestions.
