Windows 10: Brightness at 50% every reboot after October 2018 Update

My laptop is a Dell Inspiron 14 7447 and I upgraded to the October 2018 Update a few days ago. Thankfully, I didn't have any of the missing files issue but I do have a minor one: the brightness always resets itself to 50% every time I reboot. I tried searching online and a few users have reported this problem, but there is no known fix. Can you guys help me out?

Windows 10 October 2018 Update

Almost September and are the October 2018 update release in the September or October?

 

Windows 10 April update 2018 brightness problem

I can't change the display brightness after windows 10 april update 2018 it is on 100% max brightness even if I changed it to 25% or 50% it is still on 100% the change doesn't affect the brightness. I can't even work on my computer it hurts my eyes. Please
help.

If you have click Checked for updates once, it would continue to download.

Try updating to Windows 10 October update version 1809, manually.

The fastest way to get the upgrade is through Media creation tool or ISO file.

Please download Media Creation Tool from the link below and select Upgrade this PC at the first screen.
