Windows 10: Brightness bar in Windows 10?

I'm running Windows 10 on my PC with RTX 2080 and I can't find an option to turn on the brightness bar to control my external monitor. I'm running an activated version of Windows 10, up to date.

On my Dell 5559 Windows 10 , brightness not working.

Have tried few steps from youtube videos but did not work.

Please guide.

Brightness Control not working in Windows 10

Hi Ella,

To adjust the brightness, see the steps below:

• Go back to Power Options, and tick on the High performance.
• See if you can adjust the brightness.

If this not work, we highly suggest that you create an Administrator account, and re-do the steps above.

Method 2: Built in Troubleshooter.

Please follow the steps below:

• Type “Troubleshooting” on the Windows Search bar and hit enter.
• On the left side of the Troubleshooting window, click on “View all”
• Click on Printer. Please provide a password if asked for it and click ok. (Follow the onscreen instructions)
