Windows 10: Brightness problem after update

-Why is it that every time my HP Pavilion g series update to the latest version my brightness button on the keyboard don't work anymore and the brightness on the notification bar is no longer there or in the setting I need help please because i always revert to the previous version after it updated to the latest Window 10

To adjust the brightness, see the steps below:

• Go back to Power Options, and tick on the High performance.
• See if you can adjust the brightness.

If this not work, we highly suggest that you create an Administrator account, and re-do the steps above.

Step 1: I suggest you to update the Display drivers and check
if it helps you.

Refer: Uninstall, Reinstall or
update the graphics card drivers

If that doesn't help uninstall and reinstall latest graphic driver from manufacturer's website.

Note: Update all the drivers and also install all the pending updates and check.

Step 2: After installing and Updating refer the below steps to check how to automatically adjust the brightness.

• Press Windows + I keys and select System.
• Select Display and check the Adjust brightness automatically
• Restart the machine.

If the problem persists, then please proceed with updating the driver for the Display adapter. Follow these steps:

• Right click the Windows key
  and click Device Manager.
• Expand Display adapters.
• Right-click on the Display adapter listed and click Properties.
• Navigate to the Driver tab and click Update Driver Software.
• Select the option to automatically search for the updated driver software.
• Restart the computer after it's updated and verify.

You may also look into the computer manufacturer website and download and install the latest display and chipset drivers.
