Windows 10: Brindle Buddy

How do I remove Brindle Buddy from my computer. I see several sites where they want you to download their software to remove it.. but, not sure how reputable they are. Malware bytes has quarantined the files. If I delete the files from the quarantined files they just come back.

Idle Buddy

Idle Buddy Hides under different names, it is hard to find and difficult to uninstall because of that . . .

Open the old Control Panel (click your Start Button, then just type control and hit Enter)

Go to Programs and Features

First look for Idle Buddy, it is unlikely it will have that name, then look for something like 'work group inc'

If you still cannot find Idle Buddy, even under a different name, order the list in Programs and Features by clicking on the 'Installed On' column header so that arrow faces down

That will put the list in a state so the most recently installed apps will be at the top, do you see anything suspicious there?

 

Dice with Buddies for Facebook

When I uploaded Windows 10 I no longer had the ability to play Dice with Buddies on my computer. I still have no problem with my cell phone.

When I go to the site all appears ok for about 10 seconds then all the numbers/letters go away and the background starts flashing.

Any suggestions?

 

Idle Buddy Malware Definitions Update?

I ran Emsisoft, and it detected and deleted a few unknowns, but not the Idle Buddy, which was what I was hoping to remove. However, the Malwarebytes removal tool worked wonders. Apparently, it was a "mkeeper" file listed below verbatim:

"C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\MKeeperStat\mkeeper.exe".

Ran a Hitmanpro scan, and it found three additional malware files.

Computer working fine now, with no indications of Idle Buddy or malwares.
