Windows 10: Bring back MIDI default device setting please!

As you know, more and more people are listening to retro game midi music in recent years. I own Roland SC8850/88Pro, Yamaha TG300/MU90 etc. I recorded some midi music videos, have a listen:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ALd46E32u50I don’t know why Microsoft killed it? Isn’t the modern music industry bad enough? MacOS still retained it, why take away the good things.I know that some software can do this, such as CoolSoft MIDIMapper, but it can only allow one app to use the midi device at the same time.

I don’t know why Microsoft killed it? Isn’t the modern music industry bad enough? MacOS still retained it, why take away the good things.

How to re enable the default MIDI synth in Windows 10?

• What is the make and model of the machine?
  
• Are you aware of any changes that happened on the computer prior to which the device disappeared from the list of available devices?
  
• Do you see any error message/code when the device disappears?
  

Meanwhile, you may want to try the steps listed below and check if it works:

• Right click the Sound icon on the taskbar and choose
  Sounds.
  
• If your MIDI device isn’t listed there, right click on an empty space and select
  Show Disconnected Devices and Show Disabled Devices to see if the device is visible.
