    Ignorance can be bliss. All four of my PCs finally updated and everything seemed good. I subscribe to a Windows YouTuber who has excellent advice most of time and he just warned of this bug. All 4 of my various PCs had it.

    Basically there's an SSD defragging script in Windows. 2004 update changes it from once a month-ish to several times a day. This made Brian nervous and so he explains how to turn it off.

    It's easy.

    1. Windows key and type DEFRAG. Select DEFRAGMENT AND OPTIMIZE DRIVES.
    2. Select C drive and click CHANGE SETTINGS

    3. Uncheck these two bad boys

    4. Okay and save both windows. Now it won't check it AT ALL.

    5. I guess you have to wait a month or so until you hear word it's been fixed. Then turn stuff back on.

    (At his link he tells you how to protect your C SSD drive while allowing other drives to be checked normally.)

    Hi,

    unfortunately there is no publicly accessible way to report a bug. One may only sent feedback.

    But few of us have access to bug reports so it is possible to enter bug if you'll clearly describe a step-by-step bug reproducing.

    thanks for the link....i thought that link is more for feature suggestions?

    i was looking more for bug reports....i think these are bugs rather than features (calendar displaying foreign language, updates slow to get updated instead of instant when accessing store)

    and i like the phone as well....very much...coming from Android

    How to submit an official BUG report for Windows 10 ?

    I submitted a Windows 10 issue in this community. It received one response from a support person at Microsoft but the suggestion did not fix the problem and there has been no follow-up since. I have documented the issue and feel like nobody at Microsoft
    cares about Windows 10 users reporting bugs. Is there ANY WAY to actually submit a bug report to Microsoft so that a support person is assigned to the issue to provide helpful suggestions and hopefully a final solution to the bug ?
