Windows 10: broadcom 802.11n Wireless SDIO adapter

I opened a thread about this in January of last year.

That thread is now locked.

I followed all the advice given at the time, but nothing worked.


For quite some time I have not had time to deal with this.


Apparently a few others found these same drivers and they did work, but I could not tell if they had the same tablet as I do.

I have found 2 drivers that seem to work...partially.

The device now sees the networks, I have 3 with which to test, all have no problem with any of my other devices.

The issue now is that I cannot connect the tablet to any of the Wifi networks available.

No errors are showing, just the message "Can't connect to this network"


! have removed and reinstalled the drivers (the most recent and one previous without a change in symptoms).


I have a NuVision TM800W610L with Win10 Home 64-bit v1903 (OS build 18362.86)

The Broadcom 802.11n SDIO driver is 1.596.12.1 (I also have 1.596.12.0 which produces the same result)

The bcmfn2 device driver is the same.


Any assistance will be appreciated by many.

Broadcom 802. 11abgn wireless sdio adapter

My asus t200 transformer book has the Broadcom 802. 11abgn wireless sdio adapter.
Recently, my PC started having serious issues with connecting to public wifi.
Everytime I try, my PC says my wireless adapter is experiencing driver or hardware related issues, and the wireless function shuts down entirely.

Restarting, enabling and disabling and so forth doesn't solve the problem, only a full uninstall of the device and a clean install of most recent drivers fixes the issue, until next time I try connecting to a public wifi.

My Asus runs window 10 64bit.

Any ideas?

 

Acer Switch 10 Broadcom 802.11abgn wireless SDIO cannot start after upgrading to Windows 10 Creator's edition.

Have you tried the latest driver?

Is the adapter hidden? Device manager>View>Hidden devices.

If so unhide & try to update the driver.

Broadcom 802.11abgn Wireless SDIO Adapter is not working

Corrupted wireless driver is one of the possible reasons why this issue is happening. We recommend uninstalling the driver to help resolve the issue. Follow the steps below:

• Open Device Manager.
  
• Click Network adapters to expand the list.
  
• Right-click Broadcom 802.11abgn Wireless SDIO Adapter, then click Properties.
  
• Go to Driver tab.
  
• Click Uninstall.
  
• Restart your computer.

Note: After restarting your computer. Windows will automatically install a generic driver on your computer.
