Windows 10: Broadcom WiFi incompatible with Windows 10 Oct 2018 (1809) (BCM94352HMB)

I am having a serious issue with wifi connectivity and the latest beta test (Windows 10 October Update 1809) that was pushed out last week. Before this update, my wifi card would lose wifi connectivity about 2-3 times a week, this is not a distance issue because I am within 15 feet of the router and when this disconnect issue occurs, if I open up my wireless connections menu, absolutely 0 wifi ssid's show up in the list. There are typically around 8-10 around my house and 20+ at my work so there is no way this is correct. My network connections will continue to show 0 available wireless connections available until I right click on my wireless network adapter and disable it, and then re-enable it, causing all the wireless access points to show up again and connect.


Now with this latest October update, this is happening every 10-20 minutes, pretty much making wireless access with my laptop impossible. My wireless card is a Broadcom BCM94352HMB and laptop is a Lenovo y510p. I believe that Windows 10 is once again pushing incorrect drivers out with the latest update for broadcom wifi pci-e cards.

Broadcom Virtual Wireless Adapter Incompatible with Windows 10

This is not limited to Dells it also applies to Acer (v5 in my case).

I was looking for a Broadcom update, as we get the incompatible message, plus Win 10 is very slow to load (even after cleaning, optimising etc).

Acer doesn't list any win 10 64 drivers, further for win 8.1 in their incompetence list a driver that is for BT under wifi. Tried the MS update route and fully upto date.

I also went to Broadcom, difficult site to navigate, could only find drivers for Linux.

According to device manager I have the following adapter PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_4359&REV_00

Further no virtual wifi adapter is listed/shown.

Upgrading to Win 10, I experience lots of issues with win 7 pcs, but this is the first with a win 8.1 pc; in the latter case win 10 is generally better than win 8/8.1.

If anyone gets a solution I would like to know - giving a URL would be very helpful.

This is my first time posting so i hope its in the right place. Here it goes:

I have just replaced my WiFi card from (BCM943228HMB) to BCM94352HMB. Before replacing my WiFi card i done the following:

1. Made computer boot in safe mode with networking.

After that i replaced the card, then booted into windows 10 (safe mode with networking) and checked device manager. Everything was OK (See attached picture). I then tried to turn on WiFi, but it does not turn on. Any help is appreciated.
