Broken icons in search of start menu.

    Hi all,

I have an issue with the icons in the search of start. They look blank / broken, please see the screen shot.
See the Weather app as an example:

Broken icons in search of start menu. 3b51a96f-2d69-435f-9bed-828330f7e3af?upload=true.png

This happened to all my machines, desktop and 2 laptops.

On all devices I run Windows 10 Pro - 20H2.

Do you have any suggestions how to fix this strange issue?

    I have tried:

    • SFC /scannow
    • DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

    1. Press and hold the Windows key + X.

    2. Select Windows PowerShell Admin.

    3. Type the command and hit Enter on the keyboard: Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$ $ _. InstallLocation \ AppXManifest.xml"}

    4. Restart the PC.

Start menu default internet acces icon screwed?

You generally set that via the Start Menu settings (right-click start menu -> properties).

I had that issues a while ago, and it meant removing it from the Start Menu, and reinstalling my browser to get the icon back, it was very odd.

Start menu default internet acces icon screwed?

Hey guys I need your help fixing the default access icon on the start menu, as far as google searches suggested default user access and all it only fixes the IE icon, but when I chose fire fox to display it's just a globe when clicked on it still displays IE's properties but doesn't start firefox instead. Help please? *Respect :respect:*Cry

BTW it was not like this before, I just wanted a clean install for my browser.
