    Broken Lock Screen prefs: Windows Spotlight not working


    For unknown reasons the Lock Screen prefs is locked on Slideshow mode, Picture and Windows spotlight do nothing:

    Even when I select Windows spotlight or Picture the prefs window doesn't change accordingly but everything stays locked in Slideshow mode (?!) with its options. There is not even the preview anymore in upper part but the usual rolling balls circle (???!).

    SFS /scannow gives no errors.

    Windows 10 x64 desktop mode 1920x1080...

    Windows 10 Version 1709-Blank Lock Screen

    Hello,

    Check if you set Lock Screen to Windows Spotlight? It might be possible Windows Spotlight is unable to pull new images and is broken after update.

    Creators Update 1703 Sign-in/Login screen Spotlight feature broken

    This was working with Anniversary update. When I installed Creator Update Login/Sign-in Screen locked on the same picture.

    I tried deleting Asstets and Setting dirs in Content manager dir and re registering Content Manager in PowerShell, but Login/Sign-in screen still shows the same pic, although lock screen shows and cycles Spotlight images nicely.

    Is Spotlight feature broken on Login/Sign-in screen in Creators Update? I think it is.
