Windows 10: Broken Mic

I am honestly so freaking frustrated at this point. I used to stream, so my mic worked fine a long while ago. I tried getting my mic to work recently and it refuses to work. Ive tried updating drivers, deleting and reinstalling, trying a different mic, and nothing works. I will plug something in and unless I turn up the mic bass booster, there is no input (the bass booster just makes this weird static). Im trying to get this mic to work (Ultimate Lavalier Microphone For Bloggers And Vloggers Lapel Mic Clip-on Omnidirectional Condenser). Please please please someone have some sort of solution because I am so freaking frustrated.

USB Mic Problems.

The next step is what I suggested originally. Try it in a friend's PC or take it to Best Buy and ask them to try it one of their PC's. Have to confirm the mic is working OK.

My mic is broken and i go to settings to try to fix it but nothing works.

This might occur when some of the mic setting got corrupted.

I would suggest you to try running Recording audio troubleshooter.

Follow the below steps:

• 
  Type Troubleshooting in the Search area on the taskbar and select
  Troubleshooting.
  
• 
  Select Hardware and Sound.
  
• 
  Select Recording Audio under
  Sound and follow the on screen.
