Windows 10: Brother MFC-240C won't print after Win 10 updates

Discus and support Brother MFC-240C won't print after Win 10 updates in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; I have installed 3 Win 10 updates in the last two days KB4560960, KB4561600, KB4497165, and now my Brother MFC-240C printer will not print anything...     Brother MFC-240C won't print after Win 10 updates


    I have installed 3 Win 10 updates in the last two days KB4560960, KB4561600, KB4497165, and now my Brother MFC-240C printer will not print anything from my computer. When I try to print something, the job appears in the print queue for a fraction of a second, then disappears. The printer never starts printing. I can scan successfully, so the connection USB is OK. I have tried the usual troubleshooting: removing and reinstalling the printer, removing and reinstalling the driver package - still no luck. I can use the copy function on the printer, and it prints out the scanned copy just fine. Win10 appears unable to send print jobs to my printer after this update, and I have no idea how to fix it.

    MFC-240C WIndows 10 OCR Scan not option on control panel

    PROBLEM NOT SOLVED. Microsoft Windows 10 software/driver for Brothers MFC-240C does not include an option for OCR Scanning as the previous Brothers software/driver for the all-in-one did. The manufacturer refers to the Microsoft Windows 10 as all that
    is available for the equipment.

    Hi Glenora,

    The Brother MFC 240C has an ADF correct (Automatic Document Feeder) on the top?

    If you put let's say 5 sheets into that, and then scan, does it scan multiple sheets into the same doc?
