Windows 10: Brother MFC-8460N Drivers

I have 2 devices running Windows 10 with the above named printer drivers installed. I am trying to set the same printer up on 2 other Windows 10 devices. I have to click "My printer is a little older. Help me find it." Windows will identify the printer, but Windows Update will not provide the drivers. Brother has informed me that there are no original print drivers for Windows 10 for that model. Is there a direct link where I can download from Microsoft? Would it possible to copy files from one of the systems where the printer is installed to the new system? If so, which files will I need to copy. Thanks in advance for any help that can be provided.

Windows 10 does not allow scanner on Brother MFC 8460N

I have now HP laptop with windows 10 home. It does not allow me to scan from my printer Brother MFC 8460N. Previously I could scan from windows 7.Need updated driver. Brother wont provide driver for scanner on MFC 8460N or no support.

However Brother MFC 8460N can print from windows 10. dont know how to fix the scanner driver for windows 10

 

Brother MFC J6720DW listed with strange icon in Devices and Printers

I have reinstalled the drivers for my Brother MFC J6720DW and now the printer icon is listed in the unspecified category instead of the printer category. The printer is the "Device" icon to the right.





Right clicking on the icon shows the usual items for a printer (printing properties etc.), In addition it shows a "Browse Files" entry that lists the card reader of the printer.





To the left of the Brother printer icon there is another similar one that seems to be my USB card reader

 

Brother MFC-J6720DW WSD Driver only shows one tray

I have a Brother MFC-J6720DW Printer which by default has two trays, one for A3 and one for A4.
Windows installs a WSD driver for this printer, but the driver only lists one tray. How can I get the driver to recognize the second tray. I would prefer not to install the whole brother driver suite, but use the small footprint WSD driver.
