    This is, let me start by saying, that this a fine printer that has worked for me for years.

    Recently, however, it has been behaving strangely when printing pdfs either from adobe or within Firefox, for example.
    There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the printer since it prints PERFECTLY from within Word (from all trays) and scans from within Brother's own program or from within Abbyy finereader.

    The error message I receive is "out of paper," which doesn't clear when I cancel the queue or reboot the computer and printer.
    There is paper in all trays. Again, I can direct Word to print from any of the trays.

    Flummoxed.

    Brother MFC J6720DW listed with strange icon in Devices and Printers

    I have reinstalled the drivers for my Brother MFC J6720DW and now the printer icon is listed in the unspecified category instead of the printer category. The printer is the "Device" icon to the right.

    Right clicking on the icon shows the usual items for a printer (printing properties etc.), In addition it shows a "Browse Files" entry that lists the card reader of the printer.

    To the left of the Brother printer icon there is another similar one that seems to be my USB card reader

    Problem: Windows 10, Brother MFC J6910DW do not print texts (pdf and pictures yes).

    Problem: Since a couple of weeks, my printer Brother MFC J6910DW do not print texts (pdf and pictures yes). I have windows 10 y 2 laptops. Printing texts from another laptop works. Technician from Brother indicate that this is a problem of a windows uodate
    which confuse some dells with malicious software. What can I do?

    Win10 does not believe my Brother MFC-J4620DW's abilities

    Manufacturer, same as OEM/Original Equipment Manufacturer.

    According to this description on Amazon the machine has Duplex Printing so the issue would most likely be with the software and Brother should be involved in the solution:
