Windows 10: Browers Taking a long time to load

I am needing a little help with a Windows 10 Dell laptop. It's a couple of year old machine, with a fresh wipe and install of Windows 10.

The computer got hacked, and we had to start fresh. Everything seems to be working fine, except for internet browsing.

When you try to use Microsoft’s Edge browser or Google Chrome, both software takes several minutes to load. If you're patient enough, they will come up and seem to work okay once they do load.

I performed all the updates that I can find, including both Windows and Dell. I checked the drivers for the network connections and everything seems to be up to date. I've even tried to plug the laptop directly into the router to remove the wireless card from the problem. Nothing seems to correct the slow loading browsers.

I haven't timed it, but I would guess it probably takes around 3-4 minutes or so for Google to load their homepage with Chrome.

Does anyone have a clue what would cause this to happen? Maybe an article on how to fix it? I'm at a loss and do not know where to go next.

Long Loading Time for Lock Screen

Hello Pawan, thank you for the reply!

I've tried all of the steps that you've given me. Unfortunately, none of them made a difference except for the clean boot step. It didn't completely solve the problem, however I did notice a
slightly faster load time for the lock screen. However, it still takes an unusually long time to load it. Any other suggestions?
