  1. Browsers and Word are painfully slow after an upgrade

    Split from this thread.

    Hello.

I let my laptop do its usual upgrade a few days ago. I thought nothing of it but ever since the upgrade it's been like pulling teeth just to get a single web browser to come up. I spent all day yesterday trying to get just a little bit of work done and it really should have taken me only an hour or so to finish. What's more my Word will not allow me to access my account. It states something about it not being a I'm paraphrasing here "legitimate account"? After trying to fight with it for an hour I just signed into my school account to work on a document, and again, that took way too much time for me to finish. The screen just freezes and refuses to move in most cases. I'm at my wits end. I cannot continue on like this, especially during the school year. Can someone give me an explanation as to why this is happening and what I can do to resolve this issue? Thank you.
