Windows 10: browsers cut off at the bottom

Has anyone seen this?





I get a solid white "bar" at the bottom of my screen when using Firefox, and it persists when scrolling. It blocks whatever content is there unless I keep scrolling but when I get to the bottom of the webpage and I can't keep scrolling, I can't see the content. It happens only when the browser is maximized. It doesn't happen with other programs, only browsers. It happens intermittently but it has been happening more lately.

With Firefox and Internet Explorer it's the white bar but with MS Edge I can see through and even click on the windows that's below the Edge window. The Edge window is maximized but for some reason this is happening. See below.





Super weird it only happens to my browsers. This has been happening for a while, ie before the windows May 2019 update and even before the October update.

defualt browser

Hi Llyan,

If you're having issues with setting a default browser, it can be due to some changes in the configuration settings. To assist you with your concern, we recommend that you set your preferred browser as the default by following the steps listed below:

• Type Settings in the Search bar and press
  Enter.
  
• Choose System then click on Default apps.
  
• Scroll down, and click Set defaults by app option.
  
• Click on your preferred browser, then click Choose defaults for this program.
  
• Click Select all, then Save.
