    I am an apprentice IT Technician, so I apologise if this is a stupid question. If I get called away to take a look at something, and I leave my user profile logged in with *any* browser window still open, I cannot open any browsers when I log into the same profile elsewhere. Everyone else in the building seems to be able to do so seamlessly, as many times as they want. But I know this isn't a browser issue as it concerns *any* browser, not just Chrome, or Edge. My user profile is stored on a network drive and should be roaming. I can log in to as many devices as I want simultaneously, but I sh

    You can. Right click the icon and click New Window.

    Edge Chromium opens more than 10 instances in Windows 10.

    That is not unusual for a browser, particularly if you have multiple tabs open. Each tab will be have its own process, plus a few more for the browser itself. Here's my Firefox with 6 tabs open...

    Can only open 1 instance of Edge browser.

    When I’m on a website with MS Edge browser doing some financial business, why can’t I open another instance of Edge for convenience on another website? Is there a workaround without having to open an instance of IE 11?
