Windows 10: BSoD 0x00000050 & 0x000000da after installing Windows Defender

We have been running a McAfee ePO setup for an extended period of time without issues. Removed McAfee and enabled Windows Defender management via SCCM. Everything was fine after the 1809 update and then a week later when a Windows Defender platform update happened 4 of our systems that run in house software started having BSoD errors.


Pulled the dump file, no real information.


After seeing "PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA" I changed the page file from auto to set to 2x the memory, still the same error.


Changing to no "real time scanning", used to fix the error, It no longer does. Excluded everything on "C:\" as a test, still BSoD".


Checked the Windows Event viewer, but nothing stands out.


Most of the time it is a 0x00000050 error but sometimes it is the 0x000000da.


I have done a lot of "Googling" but nothing has seemed to work for the above or the "SYSTEM_PTE_MISUSE" error.


Any help is much appreciated.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

I would suggest you to open Windows defender and add exclusions and check if it helps. Follow the steps to add exclusions in windows Defender.

• 
  Type Windows defender settings in the search bar and press enter
  
• 
  Under Exclusions click on Add Exclusion

Windows update and windows defender issues

We suggest you to avoid installing any cleaner or anti-virus software that may interrupt the function of Windows Defender. Make sure that Windows Defender is always on. To do this follow these steps:

• On the Start menu, type Windows Defender and hit enter.
  
• Click Settings.
  
• Turn Real-time protection on.

We also recommend you to install the latest update for Windows Defender.
