Without driver verifier it will be guessing what is causing it, or a lot of luck that the driver is blamed.

Actually I forgot to check some drivers for the Driver Verifier (everything after the MS drivers once I sorted the list alphabeticaly). If I do check everything except MS drivers I crash on restart: Attachment 37854

The cause is a windows driver.
So a system file check is needed to find any corruption or other problems and fix them.

    Please do the following:

    • Open an admin command prompt
    • Copy/paste "sfc/scannow" (without quotes) and press enter
    • When it finished reboot your system
    • Open again an admin command prompt
    • Enter sfc/scannow again
If sfc/scannow does NOT say "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violation", please upload the cbs.log file located at {windows partition}\Windows\Logs\CBS\, if the file is too large try a 3rd party uploader like dropbox, onedrive, google drive, mediafire etc.
System File Check(SFC a.k.a. Windows Resource Protection) needs to have your system rebooted in order for sfc to try to fix the problems that it finds.

    Try
    • sfc,
    • reboot,
    • sfc
a few times, it might take a couple of tries before the problem is solved.

If after a couple of tries sfc is still unable to solve the problem, try "DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth" (without quotes) in admin command prompt.

Can't run DSIM properly, it says the source file can't be fount after a (long) while.

I already did. It doesn't explain why DSIM can't find the source thanks to Windows Update. And I don't have an install image since it was an update from win8.1.

You have tried the dism command with an ISO file?
    (for example)
    Code: Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:wim:C:\sources\install.wim:1 /limitaccess[/quote]

As I said, I didn't have one. But I downloaded the win 10 install using the Media Creation tool. DISM still can't find the source, even when I point to the install.wim file.

Nevermind, I used an install.wim I converted from the install.esd a friend got me and it just completed. Running sfc/scannow now.

Successful repair. i'll try running Driver verifier again tomorrow then.
