Are these screenshots from the time when it happens? It is prefered if you can make screenshots/photos of it when the freeze happens as that would be more informative.

 

There's absolutely no way (that I know of) of doing that. My computer completely freezes and I have to hard reset it.

 

You can't setup dual monitr? Don't you have a second monitor?

 

I could setup dual monitors, but it wouldn't matter. The mouse is not responding, keyboard not responding, ctrl+alt+del not working, nothing is working when it freezes, that's why I have to hard reset it.

 

Please setup dual monitor, on 1 monitor the game and the other monitor taskmanager.
From taskmanager, filter the usage of CPU and/or disk in processes.

I am very curious what activity is going on when the freeze again appears.

 

Now it doesn't want to crash, after I've plugged in my second monitor...the thing is, i can't really use that second monitor for a long time. Can't I log the data somewhere and then check after it (eventually) crashes? Something like this?

 

You can try, if you succeed I'll have to figure out how to understand it.

 

Nevermind that, it finally crashed. This time it happened while I was browsing Chrome. I can't see anything special in the task manager.

My thought is that this performance might be related to malware.

Note *(Uncheck trial version in the installation process) ESET and Windows Defender still running, the rest didn't find anything except for Malwarebytes, which found 28 threats (which were then removed). Will post update when the rest are finished. Can malware freeze a computer like that?

 

I am afraid malware can do more then you might think.
There are many threads where users were complaining about slow performance, they performed malware scans which found threads. The threads were removed and the problem was gone. To note, the scans were done after many other things have been tried without result.

Please keep in mind that malware doesn't have to be the ONLY cause.

 

Well it should be the only cause when you've tried everything else, right? *Smile ESET and Windows Defender didn't find anything else. Hoping for no more crashes. *Tongue
