Windows 10: BSOD after installing KB4551762 0x800f0845

I have trouble installing cummulative updates.


After installation and reboot, I got a BSOD and Windows Recovery uninstalls the update.


I tried to install the update manually, but no solution.


Someone an idea what may be the cause of the problem?

BSOD after update to 1909 KB4551762

After updating to KB4551762 system crashes with BSOD. Can boot in Safe mode but not a clean boot. Understand from the community that latest updates causing a lot of problems. I attached the minidumps below and see if anyone can help. Thanks!

kb4512941 update gives me BSOD with 0x800f0845 error.

Sorry, posting another issue to report with this update.

This is my 1st post ever, so not sure if in the right place.

Desktop Win 10 goes through the motions of updating, and then BSODs with error code 0x800f0845.
Luckily Win 10 automatically reverts back and undoes the update so all stable for the moment...I am on "Pause Updates" atm.

Tried:

1: Checked disk / files for corruption via elevated cmd prompt:

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
then
sfc /scannow

and all good.

2: SSU up to date.

3: Tried manual update, and still Win 10 goes through the motions of updating, and BSOD with error code 0x800f0845.

4: UPDATE: tried to "Perform an in-place upgrade using MCT" and I got:

"We couldn't install Win 10" message.

Details:

"0xC1900101 - 0x40017 The installation failed in the SECOND_BOOT phase with an error during BOOT operation."

PS my 3 other Desktops Win 10 computers all updated without a hitch

(all 4 comps connected via LAN for work)
