BSOD after installing new SSD with Samsung Migration Manager

    Hey guys,

So I recently migrated to a new SSD using the samsung data migration program. Upon doing so I started receiving BSOD error messages really frequently (every 15 minutes). The error messages vary but the most frequent is MEMORY_MANAGEMENT error.

The odd thing is that I tried just reinstalling the old HD and it is giving me BSOD too! I uninstalled these programs but the issue persists. I have included the minidump files if you guys wouldn't mind taking a look.

    My PC:
    Gigabyte Z68X-UD5-B3
    Intel i7-2600K
    AMD Radeon HD7700
    4x4GB GSKILL DDR3 RAM
Samsung 850 EVO SSD (old drive is an EVO 840)

    Thanks for any help!
    Joe

    :)

  2. Blurry Unreadable Blue Screen of Death Crash Windows 10

Just installed a new SSD (Samsung EVO 850 250GB). Started off by trying to clone my old HDD using the Samsung provided data migration software. At some point during the cloning, my PC crashed for an unknown
reason. After this I started getting various BSOD errors, "KMODE EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED", "MEMORY MANAGEMENT", and one or two others that I do not recall at the moment. After a serious of attempting to reformat the SSD, reclone it, etc. eventually I started
getting blue screens, but now they were blurry and unreadable, see picture:

After my PC continually kept crashing to this screen I gave up and decided to do a clean install of Windows on the SSD via a bootable USB. I was able to format the SSD using the bootable USB and install
Windows 10 without any issues. However, shortly after the Windows 10 setup process, it crashed to this same unreadable blue screen again and continues to do so with no rhyme or reason to when it decides to do it.

Has anyone ever ran into this unreadable BSOD before? Any idea what causes it?

  3. Windows 10 SSD data migaration

    Hi,

we all are waiting for Samsung to publish Windows 10 update for Data Migration. You can make Samsung SSD working now by doing it longer way (formatting the SSD and doing it start up partition and so on), but why not wait couple days so that Samsung can publish
new Windows 10 capable Data Migration version? I will wait...

I deleted the windows genuine file you guys retrieve from the code. That contains my serial information for my Windows so I would rather not post it, I also think you guys should reconsider having people post this information in general.

Attached is the rest of the output.

The Genuine.txt contains nothing that can cause you harm. We need it to help validate a persons legitimacy as far as the Operating System goes.
