Windows 10: BSoD after windows update

Which leads me to believe it was the cpu fan but I doubt it since it was a completely different pitch that I usually hear





Hi, i have a problem with my gpu i have a 1660ti and was working fine when until i updated windows ten with an optional security update, i was installing the new version for the gpu but it said to finish other installations first so i went into windows and installed the update, everything went fine and well until my gpu started making a werid noise whenever i booting up something like a game, and when i pressed the windows button on my keyboard the second became increasingly intense, i dont jnow if the sound was from the hard drive or a fan but it only started after the driver update and windows update, but i tried to install the driver to its old version but it was the same so i uninstalled the windows update and then installed the latest version for the gpu and got a BSoD, so i deleted an app called vanguard which is an anti cheat software for valirant and the new driver update installation was fine and installed , but is stil making a weird noise, after a while of playing a game the noise suddenly stopped and everything was fine, i dont know if i should be worried or if the gpu was just easing in? Or my hard drive is failing, the noise sounds exactly like coil whine but got alot worse after i installed the update, but the noise ramped up. when the cpu usage did which leads me to belive that it might have been the cpu fan but i doubt it because the pitch was different, im very worried if there is something wrong with me pc and if theres going to be a hard drive failure or something wrong with my gpu or something like that, I’m not 100% sure if it’s okay now but I would love to know if I should be concerned about something and if i can prevent it from happening again, helo would be greatly appreciated and thanks for your time

Windows Update (BSOD)

Hi Guys.
I have Built a Machine for Crunching a few days ago and I have some issues with Windows Update.

I have installed all Windows Updates but there are around 9 left without been installed becasue everytime i try to install it the Machine Crash and I get a BSOD, can someone tell me what could be causing that Windows Updates makes a Machine crash and get BSOD?

Note: the Machine it's performing great but if i dare to touch the update option BSOD is ready waiting for me*Big Grin

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
