Windows 10: BSOD and failure to launch games

Hi All, I currently experience the BSOD. It occurs at totally random times, at least once a day. Sometimes while I am busy working on documents, other times while it is idle. The only other defect that I have is when I launch any game, the game freezes 15-20 seconds after it launches, once the game freezes, I am able to alt-tab out of it and move my cursor around and click on things, but trying to open anything, like Task Manager, is extremely slow and unresponsive. I am currently running the latest Windows Insider Build, but have recently unenrolled, and am waiting for the next stable version

BSOD When playing games

• Does the BSOD occur while playing a particular game?
• Is the game downloaded from Windows Store?

I suggest you to update the Graphic Card drivers by following the steps provided below and check if it helps.

• Press Windows key + X, select Device Manager.
• Expand Display Adapters.
• Right click on the driver and select Update Driver Software.
• Follow the on-screen prompts to update.

Games won't launch and run in background.

Please do let us know with the following information for better assistance:

• What exactly do you mean by games does not run in the background?
• Which are the games you are trying to launch?
• Were you able to see any error code/ error notification while trying to launch the game?
• Have you tried any troubleshooting steps?

I would like to inform that the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable x86,
usually occupy 1 GB of the storage space.

I suggest you to run disk cleanup to free the memory: Free up drive space in Windows 10
and check.
