  1. BSOD caused by QCamain10x64.sys and IntelHaxm.sys

My laptop crashed with STOP code DEVICE_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, stating that QCamain10x64.sys had failed, which according to Google, is the driver of my laptop's wireless adapter. Just to make sure before attempting to reinstall the driver via device manager, I saw this wiki which showed how to track down misbehaving drivers. Upon following the instructions, the driver verifier prompted a BSOD with STOP code DRIVER_VERIFIER_DETECTED_VIOLATION, referencing IntelHaxm.sys. The laptop had only crashed once due to the first STOP code, but I just want to make sure it doesn't happen again.

The minidumps and msinfo32 file can be found here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1WOeKg6EoJvA1XPNT9x93vhWufZJTcXVM?usp=sharing

My laptop is a Lenovo Ideapad 330S-14IKB 81F40021PH running Windows 10 SL version 1903 build 18362.295

    Probably caused by : Qcamain10x64.sys ( Qcamain10x64+f8058 )

Can you do the following :

In the Device Manager double-click the wireless adapter > Driver

What is the "Driver Version" ?

Then click on the "Details" tab, then choose "Hardware Ids" from the drop-down menu under "Property".

    What is listed under "Value"?

    Date: 27-Oct-2016

    Recommendations

    1. Create a system restore point so that if something wrong happens you can revert.

    2. Qualcomm Atheros Network Driver has a date of 27-Oct-2016 indicating that it is very old. Try to update this from your computer manufacturer's website.

If you face problem, let me know your computer's make and model.
