It is the "next" that is the problem isn't it. This is why I am looking at getting my first Apple Computer since 1984. It used to be fun spelunking such things, it is just a PIA now.

If computers didn't break, I'd have nothing to do *chuckle Apple PCs are boring, they just work, where is the fun in that?
    Semi-kidding here.

  3. I know what you mean. I don't really blame Microsoft. It is just they have painted themselves into a corner with their idea of backward compatibility, and a bazillion computers in the world that run it. I used to deal with them at the Department of Veterans Affairs, that is where it stopped being fun. There are a bunch of people who make a good living keepings these Windows Demon machines going.

Ran the tests on my Radeon Graphic card using FurMark. Ran it for a whole hour and the GPU was not even close the being stressed, heated up to 76C and stayed there. Great bench marks. No BSOD, no freezing up, nothing Looks like I did pick out a good graphics card. Next the AMD 9590 CPU. ,

  5. It looks like I have found the problem *Sad grrrrr. This is the first time I have had a bad AMD CPU in all of the years I have assembled computers with them. The failure is in core #2. It is a Black Edition FX 9590. Easy fix but forking over another $199 dollars. *cry It is not overclocked.

Sorry Windows 10 It wasn't your fault

  8. BSOD continue after clean install W10, Graphc's card?

Will do, This sort of thing is no big deal when you assemble your own systems. *Nerd

I am thinking of just going ahead a purchasing it's replacement anyway. You know the 2nd law of
Saint Vidicon of Cathode, The Patron Saint of Computers. If you have it's replacement the original part will never fail.

But we will see what AMD does first.

Yes, obviously not. As an OS is not bad/faulty/troublemaker by itself. *Wink

I've never run Prime95, guess it's time to see what my PC toy will do.

I just finished running UNINGINE's Heaven Benchmark which is a 3D render test. GPU temp got up to 69C and stayed there. It's a Steam Punk floating islands display which is absolutely gorgeous.

Saint Vidicon of Cathode I read that about 2 years ago. Stupid name but a pretty good book.

  14. OK new CPU installed, I am now booting from a 500GB Samsung EVO SSD. So far so good, no BSOD, nor have I have any screen locks. To soon to say everything is now fixed, but the computer see to be working now. The only issue I have is sorting out my HDD. which I can handle. I really want a Drobo. I have 7 internals now.
