  1. BSOD - Critical process died

Hey, as who ever read this all ready know, I got a BSOD issue. I have a "critical process died" error whenever I start my computer. I have tried starting the computer in safe mode without any success and I have also tried to reinstall windows 10, but under the installation I get a massages saying somethinig went wrong, no changes was made and I will be kicked back. So as it is now, I have no idea what I am suppose to do. And I really dont wanna wipe my SSD to fix this if it is anotherway, cause I have some videos and pictures and some other personal stuff that I really wanna keep.
Another think that could be wurf saying is that I did do a windows 10 install some hours before this issue happend. I did the reinstall cause of a problem with a freezing. What happend was that the computer froze, and I just pressed the power button until the computer turned off. Then I started the computer as normal. When I came to my desktop starting to open programms, all the programs I open froze. I couldn't press the start button or anything. So I decided I should reinstall windows. And after the reinstall, everything semed fine. I starting to download my different programs from the web. And at the end, I installed my driver for my gpu. I restarted the pc, and there it was. The BSOS, aka "CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED" error. So if any of u have any idea what I can do to fix this, I will be more then happy!
Btw, if you need more information, just ask and I will fix it ! *Wink

    :)

  3. Cannot find/create dumps to upload for crash support

Yes, I am still crashing. Most often ends on bsod: critical process died. If not that, then on a red screen that is followed by shutdown.

    Thanks again!

    BSOD - Critical process died

  5. well, if I am suppose to do that, I need to get into the desktop, which I am not. Before I can get into any windows account I get the BSOD. And as I have said, I have tried to run the pc in safe mode, but the same thing happens.
I turn on the pc, windows is trying to load, and then the BSOD happens.

Well, from the description it seems that something at the startup process is causing the issue.

    Get clean boot using it.

Does it boot now? If not .....

Though this guide is not meant to this very bugcheck, but some things are overlapping. I would suggest you to follow these steps stated here: Troubleshooting stop 0x7B and stop 0xED. - Windows 7 Help Forums

See how it goes. Let us know.

BTW, a clean reinstall is the easiest fix for a software caused BSOD. If you rethink about it, saving the data would not be a big problem using Windows 10 Recovery Tools - Bootable Rescue Disk.

  7. I will try to boot up with the Windows 10 Recovery Tools - Bootable Rescue Disk from a USB stick, but if that doesn't work, I think I would just wipe my ssd and do a clean windows install. But as u said, it would not be hard to get back lost data. So if I was to wipe my SSD and do a clean windows install, how I'm I gonna get my data back using the Windows 10 Recovery Tools - Bootable Rescue Disk ?

NOTE: I know how I am suppose to get my data with the Windows 10 Recovery Tools - Bootable Rescue Disk now, make sence, wasn't thinking clear xD

  9. Okey, I have tried to run the Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, it couldn't find anything. and I have also tried to run this "sfc /scannow" command in CMD, but when I did that, this massage came up "Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them, .... " Same as this picture LINK.

Okey, if I reinstall windows 10, everything on my SSD is gonna get deleted, but I have a HDD too, and all my files on that HDD is safe, right ? Like nothing is gonna be deleted from that, right ? Cause then i can just copy everything I need from my SSD over to the HDD, right? Right? Right?

If you clean install on the SSD, the HDD will remain untouched, and so no file on the HDD will be affected.

If there is any dear file in the DDS, you can save those too. Use the Windows 10 Recovery Tools - Bootable Rescue Disk.
Boot into it, copy the files from the SSD to the HDD.

  11. Okey, thanks. I have tried to do a clean install, wiping the SSD and install windows. But all the time under the install process, it sems like the computer is freezing. I have turned it off once while it it was on the same piicture for around 1 hour. And now it sems like it have frozen again. The loading circle have stoped, and it's stuck on 45%.

I am not using a cd, I am using a USB stick to install windows 10 and the files I got from this site.

At this moment, it is stuck on a black background with write text saying "Hyggelig å se deg", which is norwegian and means it is good to see you. I will the pc stay on over the night and if it is like this when I wake up, I guess I need help or I could try to load the windows 10 files to the usb stick again.

Now it will install a lot of things like updates, apps from store, and a few other things including language/keyboard input. It will take a time depending on your internet speed.

I don't think the internet speed is the issue.

4-5 hours stuck on the same pickure.... I am now trying to install windows 10 with the usb stick connected direcly to the motherboard, and if this dont work, I have no idea what I am suppose to do...

It froze again.... Could it be something wrong with the CPU ? Maybe my SSD is broken ?

Jupp, froze. This time when I am about to choose my setting for windows. Would it maybe help if I try to install windows 8.1 ?
