  1. BSOD different stop codes

    Hello,

    I built my new pc like 6 weeks ago and everything ran smooth until it randomly started to freeze. It froze 2-4 times in the last 1-2 weeks. Now its a constant BSOD with different error codes even at startup. All my research from these codes tells me that it could be anything from a bad driver to hardware, i initially thought it was hardware since i heard some weird crackling sounds coming from the bottom of the pc and figured it could be the psu at the

    time i thought it was just a bug crawling in the fan lol. Memtest gives me thousands of errors to the point where it froze on my first test with both sticks. I took both rams out and tried each stick by itself (did not run memtest) but BSOD errors continue with each single stick. Im running on one stick now and at least it allows me to enter safe mode by shift+restart than safemode. It doesn’t crash on safe mode but if i try to reinstall a clean windows by booting from the usb itll just crash. Is safe mode easier on the memory and its possibly not triggering the issue ? From what i understand memtest should not give me any driver related errors ? Which is why im thinking its hardware related. I wanted to hear some feedback before i start replacing parts. I’ll start with the psu and ram but since the ram has to be returned to

    newegg or bought online since all we have is best buy, by the time i get the new ram the 2 weeks that i have left to return the cpu or

    motherboard would have expired so im desperate and will have to spend on a new psu and most compatible ram best buy might have. Hoping thatll theyll refund me if its not the psu or ram.

    Build:

    MSI MPG Z390 Gaming edge AC LGA 1151

    Intel core i5-9600k

    XPG Gammix D10 16 GB DDR 4 3000 (PC 24000)

    Cryorig H7 Plus Dual Fan tower (cpu) cooler

    Samsung 970 evo m.2 2280 250 gb

    power supply i used my 2-3 year old evga 750 wt gaming modular power supply. Not home right now dont have full specs.

    These are my memtest results. First one froze and 2nd one i stopped. I also already tried disconnecting my gpu.

    Several BSOD screens with different stop codes - Windows 10

    I bought a new pc, few days ago. since I got it, my windows 10 crashed about 8 to 10 times already.
    Each time I get a different stop code, the ones I got already was:

    1. KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
    2. SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION
    3. IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
    4. MEMORY_MANAGMENT
    5. DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION

    All I could find is this question, but I don't know if his answer is the same as mine, please tell me if it is, I'll add pictures of anything needed.

    Thank you for your help, in advance, it is really important.

    EDIT: I updated all drivers (motherboard, nvidia gpu), and I got a new stop code after it crashed again: POOL_CORRUPTION_IN_FILE_AREA

    BSOD has a different stop code whenever I do a task.

    I've uninstalled the drivers as you suggested, but the BSoD happened again, this time with the stop code: ATTEMPTED WRITE TO READ-ONLY MEMORY. I've also noticed that the mouse seems to take a long time to respond to a different program whenever I click on something, as well as go forward whenever I backspace on a website or folder.

    7 different BSoD

    Hey guys,

    I have a serious problem. I make it as short as possible:

    • system runs 100 % fine with the 10.12
    • updatet to Catalyst 11.1 -> BSoD
    • updatet to 11.1 Hotfix -> BSoD
    • rollback to 10.12 -> BSoD
    • removed ALL AMD files manually, installed 10.12 -> BSoD
    • Temps are fine
    • no sfc /scannow errors
    • no chkdsk errors
    • Prime, Furmark all fine
    • regardless what driver I install -> BSoD
    • I did no hw changes, no OC
    Here are my BSoDs I receive:
    • 0x0000010e
    • 0x1000007e
    • 0x0000007e
    • 0x0000004e
    • 0x0000003b
    • dxgmms1.sys
    • PFN_LIST_CORRUPT
    They all refer to the GPU of course ...

    From now on I receive a BSoD every time I try to play a game (especially BC2 and SC II) even if I completely remove the old driver and make a clean install.
    Apparently the 11.1 damaged my system irreparable.

    Any advice or info would be very much appreciated *Smile BSOD different stop codes :)
