The connection for the internet is only temporary and is for the added flexibility to download drivers after uninstalling them.
The alternative is to download to the desktop.
However the plan is to completely uninstall the driver and to make sure it is gone with search.
Then to download and reinstall a new driver and make sure windows update of non-Microsoft drivers is set off.

Update: Ever since I updated my BIOS it seems like I've stopped getting BSODs from youtube, so thank you @axe0! However, it's still happening when I watch netflix (mostly just really loud static noise with freezing then it resumes after a couple of seconds).

    1) Open the Asus website and enter your computer's serial or product number and windows 10 to view all of the available drivers.
    2) Look for the Realtek driver rtwlane.
or Realtek PCI-E Wireless LAN NIC NDIS Driver
    3) Post what you see for windows 10 into the thread.
    4) Then change the operating system on the Asus web site to windows 8.1 or 7.0 to see if there are any other Asus drivers approved for your computer's configuration. If you find any additional dirvers please post them into the thread.
    5) Open the Realtek website and look for any available driver for your computer's configuration. Please post that into the thread.
    6) Change the operating system to windows 8.1 or 7.0 and see if there are any additional drivers for your computer's configuration
    7) Once you have a list of possible drivers you can see how many choices there are whether you update, roll forward, or roll backward.
    8) If you can temporarily use a wired connection it is preferred.
    9) Windows can be set to not install non-Microsoft drivers but this is fallible.
    9) If you cannot get a wired connection it still can be done by downloading to the desktop but the aim is to uninstall all drivers while connected to the internet and to see whether or not windows was reinstalling the driver. If you download to the desktop then disconnect wireless then install it can be done but you may have to do further checking to see whether windows is attempting to install the driver.
    10) Whenever you post the available drivers let us know whether you can or cannot get temporary access to a wired connection.

This will be the first driver that you try: Version V2023.40.801.2016 from the Asus web site.

Download and install everything search: voidtools
This search software makes an index of everything on the computers internal and external drives.
It can be set to start on boot or when you need it.
When launched it takes about a minute to index everything.
Then as you type a character there are instantaneous results.
The more characters you type the narrower the search results.

When you have a reliable wired internet connection look for a mechanical button to turn on or off wireless and turn off wireless.
The open everything and type: rtwlane.sys
Then open device manager and expand network adapters.
Then look for Realtek wireless LAN
Then right click > properties > driver details > confirm rtwlane.sys
Then ok > uninstall the driver
    The view everything search
    The perform windows updates
Then report into the thread whether there were or were not any new entries in everything for rtwlane.sys

Sorry for the late reply. When I uninstall the driver, do I check the box that says "uninstall the software for this driver"? Also, what if there are no windows updates to install at the moment?

Edit: Before and after I uninstalled the driver, I had 40 files of rtwlane.sys on everything. After I restarted my computer, it reinstalled the driver then I saw 39 files of rtwlane.sys. The windows option to update non-Microsoft drivers is on.

I just uninstalled the driver (completely) and I had 38 files of rtwlane.sys show up on everything. After I restarted, I noticed that it reinstalled the driver but it downgraded it by itself to a 2016 version (yay)! I also had 37 files of rtwlane.sys show up on everything. I think the problem should be fixed now? Now I'm gonna turn off non-Microsoft driver updates like you suggested.
