Windows 10: BSOD "Driver Power State Failure"

Laptop specs:

Lenovo Z51-70 running Windows 10

8gb ram, 1Tb hdd

Intel graphics HD 5500 4gb

AMD Radeon R9 M375 4gb



This started when I got an upgrade to Windows feature update 1803. While I was installing the update it got stuck at 42%. So, I forced shut down and I guess it got restored to a previous version of Windows. Since then, the BSOD "Driver power state Failure" shows up every 10-15 mins. I googled the error and tried updating drivers, uninstalled and reinstalled the AMD graphics driver(some forums said it was specifically because of the graphics driver), even did a Windows Refresh. Booted the pc into safe mode and uninstalled drivers with yellow marks, excoet the 'pnp monitor display driver' which shows up even after uninstalling. Please help as it is really annoying to see the pc reboot every 10 mins.
