  1. BSOD during gaming, plethora of different error codes!

Hello, I have recently moved from windows 8.1 to 10 after buying a new system (almost), and have been having issues ever since.

    Windows is 64-bit Pro.
Problem is that during gaming I get the dreaded BSOD.
**Before I say anything else, I should mention that I did get a brand new board, ram and processor when I bought Win 10, so I am not 100% sure the issue is with the software, but due to a number of things (mentioned below), it seems like it is.

    • I have run memtest, HD tune scans etc to check as much as I can the hardware and not a single error has come up
    • The error only occurs during gaming (so far and as far as I can remember). Did stress tests and benchmarks and all went absolutely fine but still crash during games.

Now, the issue at hand: system starts fine, no problem booting up or down. When I start a game, I get a bunch of different errors, some of which are:
    • Kernel data inpage error
    • Faulty hardware corrupted page
    • System service corruption
    • System exception not handled
And a couple more. I'm guessing if it was the ram or something, the error code would've been the same one.

Sometimes they happen 5mins into the game, sometimes it takes a couple of hours.
Please let me know if you need anyt other info as well, attached is the file that is mentioned in the rules.

BSOD: System Service Exception (Error code: esif ls.sys)

I'd like to apologize if this problem had been brought up before but since I can't seem to find the answer and I want to make sure.

So, the BSOD has been reoccurring more often lately. It gets to a point where it occurs 3 times a day whether during use or even when it's idle. It says that the cause is System Service Exception and the error code is 'esif ls.sys'. I did try to look the
error code up but I couldn't find anything. There were a lot of solutions to fix BSOD caused by 'system service exception' but it varies depending on the error code. I was wondering what exactly might be the cause and whether it might have the same solution
to some other one with a different error code. Thank you.

  3. Blue Screen While Playing Online Games

Hello, I have recently upgraded from Windows 10 Pro 64-Bit Build 10240 to Windows 10 Pro 64-Bit Build 10586.3. A BSOD is always being triggered when I play online games. The BSOD usually occurs during loading and it has an error message of " KMode_Exception_Not_Handled
    caused by dump_wmimmc.sys ".

What is the root cause and the possible solution?

By the way the online game that I play is CABAL Online and this is the only game in my PC that triggers BSOD. Other games work normally aside.

BSOD during gaming, plethora of different error codes!

Hello and welcome to TenForums *Smile

The log files that you provided only show one crash dump file so there is not a lot of information to go on. Furthermore the bugcheck code is not one I have ever seen before!

The stack recorded in the dump includes some references to storage and the analysis suggests memory corruption and so with nothing else to go on I would suggest that you do a check on the hard disk and RAM. This maybe the same as you have already run but it would be good to see the results.

    Try CHKDSK
    using option 3
    Then

    HDD TEST
    *Arrow Run HDTune to
    • check the health,
    • scan for errors, no quick scan but full scan
    • run a benchmark.
It may take some time, but please take the time you need to perform it properly.
When above is done please make screenshots of the following
    • the health,
    • the error scan,
    • the benchmark incl. following
      • transfer rate,
      • access time,
      • burst rate,
      • cpu usage.

Similarly with a memory test it would be good to post the results after you have run memtest86+ for a minimum of 8 passes

You indicated that many more crashes have occurred, however, they are not being recorded. Please make sure that your system is setup to record crash dump files: Configure Windows 10 to Create Minidump on BSOD

If the BSOD errors are all different it does tend to suggest a hardware problem. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

BSOD during gaming, plethora of different error codes!

There is 16 GB RAM with the same parameters. It is not yet known whether it is dual channel. If possible the best testing will be testing both RAM simultaneously. If there are any errors then the RAM will be tested independently to differentiate the RAM and the DIMM. So if you can bear the wait, having 8 or more passes will enable us to rule in or rule out the RAM as a source of the bsod.

  9. It wont be easy but i'll try to leave it on for about 12hours or so, I usually work at weekends so cant just go afk for long periods of time.
But is this normal? only crashing during/after gaming? Stress tests and everything works fine. Its just really weird.
