Windows 10: BSOD during install of Windows 10 Anniversary Update

How should I know what page file error is?

I am just stating what I saw on BSOD.

Nothing that is of any help I presume but someone may have encountered such a problem.

If anyone has please explain how to resolve issue.

Because a pagefile error is shown on the screen?

Depending on the error we have a lead of a possible cause, the hard drive.

*Arrow Check Disk (chkdsk) - Read Event Viewer Log - Windows 7 Help Forums



Run HDTune to

• scan for errors, no quick scan but full scan
• check the health,
• run a benchmark.

It may take some time, but please take the time you need to perform it properly.
When above is done please make screenshots of the following

• the error scan,
• the health,
• the benchmark incl. following
  • transfer rate,
  • access time,
  • burst rate,
  • cpu usage.

 

Do not run SeaTools on an SSD as the results will be invalid

I only have SSD on PC 2 of them.

So as I understand from your attachment what you suggest cannot be done.

Any other suggestions.

I do not know what I did but now I get BSOD 76% with error message page fault in nonpaged area.

Any ideas how to solve?

Please provide more information by using the DM Log Collector and upload the zip.

Did you run the tests I suggested?

 

FYI, BSOD problems aren't similar to other problems. They are not problems on which you can say 'you have this problem? do this and that and it will be solved'. We need the dumps BSOD crashes create to analyze the crashes as best as we can to provide suggestions. Each BSOD has various of causes, we cannot just give suggestions randomly, that would be doing things out of nowhere where there is no clue if we make things worse or get more problems or get a bit close to solutions.
