  1. BSOD dxgmm2.sys & watchdog.sys

    Hallo dear Microsoft community,

I had three blue screens of death after testing my Ram overnight with the software (Karhu Ram Test - which is a relieable Ram tester). The thing I don't understand is that I passed the test just fine with 0 Errors and over 20 000 % coverage, but right when I stop the Ram test I get the same bsod everytime, so I think my Ram is actually fine. Everytime it happened my PC run overnight with the Ram test, yet no errors during the test.

This is the first time I use OneDrive, so please tell me if this worked. Here are the Minidumps: https://1drv.ms/f/s!AgqIchf3ObcuhQqF0wyBWZnGJsvR

I really glad for any help I can get, I am really overwhelmed with the problem. The overclock on the graphic card and the processor can't really be the issue, as they ran stable for over 2 years now and are tested with several benchmarks, prime and games.

    :)

  2. Windows 10 - dxgmm2.sys BSoD

    I haven't got errors for a kernel_security_check_failure, just the dxgmm2.sys blue screen.

Every time I install drivers, I download the latest one off of the website. I am currently on 361.75.

The file creating the error is Microsoft's.

  3. GPU driver updated, overriding nVidia driver, resulting in dxgmm2.sys BSoD

I updated to Windows 10 Pro. I installed the latest nVidia driver and everything was working fine.

The next day, I get an alert saying gpu driver was updated. I think that is odd. Then a few hours later, while playing a game, I get the BSoD saying dxgmm2.sys crashed.

A potential WORKAROUND is "rolling" back the driver (how cute engineers).

We need a permanent solution. Windows does not have any business updating drivers for discrete gpus made by other companies. These companies release their own drivers.

  4. BSOD dxgmm2.sys & watchdog.sys

    BSOD - driver_irql_not_less_or_equal (l1c63x64.sys)

    Hi Seung,

Sorry for the inconvenience caused by BSOD - driver_irql_not_less_or_equal (l1c63x64.sys).

Please let us know the make/model of your computer.

The L1C63x64.sys is the Atheros LAN driver and I would suggest to uninstall and reinstall the Atheros LAN driver but install the latest Atheros LAN driver by visiting the manufacture's website and avoid using any LAN driver available though Windows Update.

However the problem could also be with any VPN software and other software so make sure you have the latest version of each of these software.

If the errors continue uninstall the VPN software and check if the issue persist.

Hope this helps. Get back to us for further queries for BSOD - driver_irql_not_less_or_equal (l1c63x64.sys). We are happy to help!
