Windows 10: BSOD everytime I install the AMD drivers on my ryzen 5 3500u laptop

Good day everyone, I have a Lenovo IdeaPad 3 with a Ryzen 5 3500U and 4gb of RAM, upon adding a new 8gb 2400mhz stick of ram and doing a fresh Windows 10 installation, I keep getting BSOD Memory_Managment and other error code EVERYTIME I install the AMD drivers, the laptop works fine and the RAM is functional but the moment I install the gpu drivers I keep getting BSODs, these are the minidump files: Mini Dumpany help would be appreciated.

I have the same problem with AMD Vega 8 Ryzen 5 3500U. It works reverting the driver back and installing AMD. But every 2 months I have to do it again.

 

Windows 11 keeps changing my AMD drivers.

In that case I suggest you download and install the latest AMD driver:

Then pause updates for 1 week;

Press Windows key + i and go to Windows Update;

Under "Pause updates" select Pause for 1 week and click Pause updates;

Wait for the set time and the updates will automatically resume after the 7 days;

Check whether the problem is fixed;

Good day! I apologize that you are having this issue and I am hoping we can work through it and fix it.

Please create a backup of the system or a restore point then

Please use DDU to uninstall all drivers you have now installed:

This will clean out everything you've done so far.

After that, you simply need the driver here:

This is all you need. If it still does not display, then I would suspect a hardware issue if it suddenly started to have this issue without you changing anything.

Or you can just go back to standard windows drivers if you wish with the automatic driver installation.
