    I need some help as i csnt figure this sh** out and it's really annoying me.


    So i have basic knowledge and build my own gaming PC. Ive recently changed my mobo and completely wiped the drives and the booted up from USB, formatted drives, deleted then installed windows... Installed drivers etc, had problems with getting speakers to work so was always uninstalling and installing. Anyway...


    I keep getting BSOD, sometimes i get it and reboot then it does it again and had it do it 3 times in 5 minutes once. Hasnt done it for a while but didnt tonight and i just finished gaming and got off, uploaded a clip to social media and boom, "kmode exception not handled" and sometimes get the "system thread exception not handled".


    I go to event viewer and loads different errors but check the critical one. Its always saying "KERNEL POWER".


    I can't figure this out. My system is installed fine, ive ran diagnostics and come back fine, I've done disk cleaner, I've ran driver booster, Intel driver and support assistant as i use all these for drivers, ive done everything i can possible think of and this keeps happening every few days.


    The only thing i can think is my PSU is dying? I dont know.


    Can someone please help me out.

    Disable hardware accel in your browsers. Also aumha.org for bsods listing. Turn on power saving for your gcs(set to oc in games but not webbrowsing)

    Hi Groggubus,

    Welcome to the 10forums BSOD help. :)

    Please remove / disable items from the startup in taskmanager
    These programs could interfere with the boot process giving you trouble and increase the boot time.

    Daemon tools, Alcohol 120% and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known cause for BSOD's.
    Please remove Daemon Tools and run the SPTD pass through remover.

    1. Uninstall Daemon Tools
    2. Download the SPTD standalone installer and follow these steps:
      • Double click the executable to open it
      • Click on the button shown below

    BSOD help. [​IMG]

    If the button is grayed out, like in the image, there is no more SPTD installation on your system, and you can close the window

    Please follow this suggestion for the BSOD
    1. Please open BitDefender and go to the modules,
    2. Go to the firewall settings,
    3. Uncheck 'Block port scans in the network',
    4. Reboot your system <-- IMPORTANT
